Carte LIBERTE
Offer reserved for Carte Liberté cardholders. Discount calculated, excluding additional service fees, on the BUSINESS PREMIERE fare for TGV and INTERCITÉS trains requiring reservations (excluding OUIGO and INTERCITÉS 100% ECO). On INTERCITES trains that do not require a reservation the discount is 50% calculated on the normal fare of the class travelled in. On TER trains, the card provides a 50% discount provided that it is accepted by the regional transport authority within its jurisdiction. More information is available on the regional TER websites.
On the trains TGV France - Luxembourg, TGV Paris - Fribourg en Brisgau, TGV France-Italie et DB-SNCF in cooperation the discount is 45 % in 1st class ou 60% in 2nd class on the Business PREMIERE rate (tarif Liberté prima for TGV France-Italie). On the train TGV Lyria the discount is 40% minimum inn Business 1ère on the Business 1ère rate and 60% in Standard class calculated on the STANDARD 1ère flex rate.
50% for children: offer reserved for, at most, 3 accompanying children between 4 and 11 years old inclusive if their ticket is purchased at the same as the Carte Liberté ticket. Discount calculated excluding additional service fees on the price paid by the cardholder.
Exchange
Ticket exchangeable without fees up to 30 minutes after departure. Ticket refundable without fees up to 30 minutes after departure in the stations and sales offices of the departure locality. Starting from 30 minutes before the departure time, the number of exchanges is limited to 2 and the exchanges are restricted to another train on the same day and for a trip that includes the original route. Tickets exchanged within 30 minutes of the departure time are non-refundable.
Exchanging is necessary before accessing the train. Travellers who have not exchanged their tickets will be considered as having no valid ticket and will be charged on board according to the amounts indicated in the Passenger Fares Agreement. Same-day tickets purchased at the Carte Liberté, Frequénce season ticket, Pro Seconde or Business Première fare are exchangeable even for a full train using the TGV INOUI PRO application, Self-Serve Kiosks, and in our stations and sales offices.
Card change
From 09/05/19 to 07/07/19, holders of a Fréquence 50 or Fréquence 30 pass, bearers of a 6 or 12 months Fréquence coupon, wishing to acquire a Carte Liberté, will have the option of requesting a refund of their Fréquence coupon prorated to the number of full months remaining. To be eligible for a refund, the remaining validity period of the card must be at least 6 months for the 12-month coupon, 5 months for the 6-month coupon on 09/05/2019. Any refund request must include the application form available to download online as well as the original coupon.
